The project

PyrAscend

A free self-guided offroad adventure concept through the Pyrenees, built around autonomy, GPX navigation, real terrain and route validation.

What is PyrAscend?

PyrAscend is a free self-guided offroad motorcycle route concept through the Pyrenees. It is designed for riders who want to explore offroad terrain independently, without fixed guides, group pressure or packaged travel structures. The concept combines GPX-based navigation, practical route information, terrain assessment and real riding experience, giving riders the freedom to plan, ride and experience the route in their own way.

Freedom with direction.

Many offroad motorcycle trips are either fully guided, expensive or built around fixed travel packages. That structure can be useful, but it often removes the freedom that makes adventure riding valuable in the first place.

PyrAscend is designed as a middle ground. The routes, terrain information and GPX files are prepared in advance, but the ride itself stays independent. Riders can follow a tested route, understand what to expect and still make their own decisions about pace, stops, accommodation and overall travel style.
